Delta Javelin 4.5-30×56 FFP SMR-1 IR

We highly recommend checking out the Delta Stryker 3.5-21×44 over the Javelin!

The Delta Javelin 4.5-30×56 FFP riflescope is the perfect scope for Precision rimfires, training rifles that also cross over as varmint rifles and for entry into precision rifle where one doesn’t feel they would be able to make full use of the higher end optical performance and refined features of the Delta Stryker.

Key features that make the Delta Javelin 4.5-30×56 FFP standout for its price point
– ED Glass
– 34mm Tube
– Illuminated centre point
– Lockable (lift to turn) both turrets
– 32 MRAD of adjustment (0.1MRAD/click)
– Zero stop
– 0.1MRAD per click
– Two Reticle options SMR-1 or SMR-2
– Shock-resistant to 8000 Joule, equivalent to the recoil of a .338 Lapua
– Included in the box: Throw Lever for rapid magnification adjustments, sunshader and metal flip-open covers.

The SMR (Scandinavian Match Reticles) reticles are made for shooters by shooters. All SMR reticles are designed to be clean and simple without any unnecessary distractions but remain functional, versatile and efficient.

The Delta Javelin SMR-1 is a holdover reticle made to fit the needs of long range, field- and PRS-style shooters, however, due to the illuminated center the reticle is also ideal for low-light hunting. The reticle features options such as an open top, a floating center dot, 0.2 mil hash marks and an integrated free floating ruler with 0.1 mil hash marks for easier target measurement. The holdover ”Christmas tree” has 0.2 hash marks for distance and windage hold, the numbers for mil holdover are placed 1.2 mil on the right from center to be easily spotted when counting holdover, but still far enough not to cover the target at the most critical parts of the reticle.

The Delta Javelin SMR-2 is more of a crossover reticle between hunting and shooting and it has all the same features as the SMR-1, aside from the “Christmas tree” in the SMR-1. Making it more suitable for the shooter that rarely utilizes the tree for holding over.

Back in 2017 the first Delta Optical scope we ever got our hands on was a Delta ‘titanium’ 4.5-30×56, that scope was actually one of the early Delta Stryker scopes that simply didn’t have its new branding on it yet. Over the years since then the Delta Strykers have proven to be one of the most popular items we carry, with consistent positive feedback from customers, so we are proud to promote these sensational scopes. The Delta Javelin is the gateway scope or the complimentary trainer to the Strykers at only $1600 represents an incredible quality to value ratio and in the entry level scope market it really stands out. We run one on our precision rimfire and from PRS22/PRS matches to harvesting rabbits and small game for the pot we are yet to find a more suited scope for the role.
